Originally from Greenwich Village, Manhattan, Temima made Aliya from South Africa in 2009. She holds a BA and teaching diploma in Judaic Studies, an MA in English from Bar Ilan University, and postgraduate degrees in Publishing Studies from the University of the Witwatersrand and in Sociolinguistics from the University of South Africa, respectively. She has taught Judaic Studies to high school and adults in the US, South Africa and Israel, runs an independent marcom consultancy, and is currently writing her doctoral dissertation in philosophy of language, on the influence of language on thought, through the University of the Free State in Bloemfontein, South Africa.
